Consumer Warranty Conditions

Version 1.0 | Effective: 7 March 2026 | Applies to: Consumer (B2C) purchases | This document defines the warranty terms applicable to custom furniture products purchased by consumers from FurniOx.
Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies to all custom furniture products manufactured and delivered by UAB FurniOx to individual consumers for personal, non-commercial use. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal domestic use conditions.
EU Consumer Warranty Rights
Under EU Directive 2019/771 and the Lithuanian Civil Code, consumers are entitled to a minimum 2-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery. During this period, FurniOx is responsible for any lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery. Within the first year, any defect is presumed to have existed at delivery unless proven otherwise. These statutory rights cannot be limited or excluded by contract.
Commercial Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, FurniOx provides a commercial warranty of 5 years on structural components (frames, load-bearing elements) and 2 years on mechanisms, hinges, and moving parts. This commercial warranty is provided free of charge and does not affect your legal rights under EU consumer protection law.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover: damage caused by improper use, misuse, or negligence; normal wear and tear including minor colour variations in natural materials; damage from exposure to excessive moisture, heat, or direct sunlight; modifications or repairs performed by unauthorised persons; damage caused by failure to follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by FurniOx; cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim, contact FurniOx at [email protected] or call +370 600 00000 with your order number and a description of the defect, including photographs. We will respond within 5 business days. If a defect is confirmed, FurniOx will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the defective component, or provide an appropriate price reduction. All warranty repairs and replacements are provided free of charge.
Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and applicable EU consumer protection directives. Disputes may be resolved through the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR). Nothing in this warranty limits your statutory consumer rights.
