Quality Commitment

FurniOx is committed to manufacturing custom furniture that meets the highest European quality standards. Our quality management system encompasses material sourcing, production processes, finishing, and final inspection to ensure every product meets or exceeds client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Certifications & Compliance

FurniOx products comply with applicable EU furniture safety standards including EN 14749 (domestic storage furniture), EN 527 (office work tables), and EN 16139 (non-domestic seating). Our wood materials are sourced from FSC-certified and PEFC-certified suppliers, ensuring responsible forestry practices. All board materials meet E1 formaldehyde emission standards (EN 13986), and finishes comply with EN 71-3 safety requirements.

Material Standards

All raw materials undergo incoming quality inspection. Board materials (MDF, HDF, particleboard) must meet EN 312 and EN 622 standards for mechanical properties and moisture resistance. Edge banding materials are tested for adhesion strength and heat resistance. Hardware components (hinges, slides, connectors) are sourced from certified European manufacturers and tested to meet their respective EN standards for durability and load capacity.

Quality Control Process

FurniOx implements a multi-stage quality control process: incoming material inspection with certificate verification; in-process quality checks at cutting, edge banding, drilling, and assembly stages; final product inspection against order specifications and visual quality standards; packaging inspection to prevent transport damage. Any non-conforming products are isolated, documented, and either reworked or rejected.

Testing & Verification

Products undergo functional testing including door and drawer operation cycles, load testing for shelves and work surfaces, and stability testing where applicable. Surface finish quality is verified for colour consistency, scratch resistance, and adhesion. Test results are documented and retained for a minimum of 5 years for traceability purposes.
